Librarians receive many inquiries from parents interested in homeschooling. In order to help local librarians answer these questions, KHEA has produced a free, 70-page, Homeschool Information Packet, which includes all the basic information a parent will need in order to explore homeschooling as an educational alternative. Everything from Kentucky laws, to curriculum sources, to a suggested reading list and helpful articles are included. This is an excellent resource. You may wish to print this PDF document (Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader) and bind it in a comb binding for a handy, desktop reference.
